Not sure about that and you would drink too if you were a dispatcher shirt!  For one the idea of a third Obama term was less appealing after 8 years of Obama than it is now after seeing 4 years of Trump. Plus, Biden would probably be running against Hillary who owned the DNC at that point and was the bigger establishment candidate. I think Biden would certainly do better than Clinton and probably win since he didn't carry her baggage, but he likely would not have won the primary.
